Please leave comments on the great things that we are doing. For the last few months we have been busy helping
the
Community, that is our Mission. RCUS assisted with the Sharefest for Haiti
sponsored by Heartland Church. We have made donations to the
Fatally Unique Dance
Team, Chuck Jefferson's Fundraiser, Allen Chapel's 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Quincy's Backyard Barb B Que to name a few.

We are currently working on our 4th Community
"Free" Cookout on August 7, 2010, We will
participate in the "Breast Cancer
Walk" in Oct. and our 4th Anniversary will be in November. The School Supply Drive started on July 15th and will
continue
through the end of August, J T Bourbon St is the location for drop off of the
supplies. The annual Food Drive will be held in November. See Jackie for details.

We just ended our Youth Steppers 6
week course held at Booker Washington Center/J T Boruron St. Thanks to Positive Reflections for donating the
Youth Steppers tee shirts.
Come celebrate with them
when they perform for us at the August 2nd Sat.

It has been a blast for us and special thanks to the Members who give their great support
for
taking fliers and posters and selling ticktets to our events.

Being active in the Organization is a huge asset to Rock City.
.
It has been
an exciting year so far, so lets continue to support the community and stay positive in everything.
.Kudos to Rock City
for achieving the Black and Hispanic Award of the Year. I was awarded the Adult Achiever for the 3rd year
for
the YMCA. We all strive to succed.
